We are pleased to announce the appointment of Francis Kimanzi as our new head coach ahead of the 2020/21 FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) campaign that kicks off in a week’s time.

Kimanzi, who is the immediate Harambee Stars head coach boasts of a wealth of experience. He has handled the national team on three stints, he has also been in charge of the Kenya U23 team. At club level, he has coached Mathare United, Sofapaka FC, and Tusker FC.

His wealth of experience will come in handy for the team ahead of the new season where we will be seeking to better our last season’s performance.

Our head coach will be aided by former Kenya U20 coach John Kamau. Kamau has previously handled the now defunct Thika United, Posta Rangers, KCB FC, and FC Talanta. Kamau also served as Harambee Stars’ assistant coach.

Our goalkeeping department will be headed by Samuel Koko.

Koko joins us from Mathare United where he was the keepers’ trainer. Koko is an ex Kitale FC, Zoo FC and Nairobi Stima keeper.

Also joining our new-look bench is Sylvia Kariuki. Kariuki, a sports scientist by profession will serve as our players’ monitor.

Former Muhoroni Youth FC assistant coach Jeff Odongo will serve as our trainer.
