Editor's note

The demise of defence stalwart and former Kenyan International Zablon Amanaka has shocked all football stakeholders. I wish to convey my deepest condolences to the bereaved family. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

And so football is back after a brief pause because of the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic. The BetKing Premier League is again on the agenda for Wazito. The goal is to achieve a strong finish at the business end of the season. At the heart of Wazito ambitions is the marauding left-back Dennis Ng’ang’a. Often, he enjoys greater license to attack with impunity. His service from wide areas is fantastic. He gets his head up to have a look, and if on the odd occasion he’s closed down, he’ll whip that cross into the corridor of uncertainty.

Nothing was off the table in our interview, with our No. 3. We asked him everything from lockdown to his best Wazito goal and the best left-back ever. Turn to page 9 to find out the answers. We also had a sit-down with Wazito legend Maxwell Otieno. He shares his pearls of wisdom about life after retirement with active footballers. The newly retired David Oswe recounts his 40-yard strike against AFC leopards in 2018 (pg 25). And we meet Kevin Kimani and Musa Masika number one fan.
